Had a really kintio (anxious) night… Was keeping track with the performance of DAP, PAS and PKR for the whole night. Now that the three parties had carved a successful victory in denying Barisan National’s two-third, I really thank God for all these. The Barisan Alternatif (aka Opposition) as of 2:13am Mac 9, 2008 has won 77 parliamentary seats while Barisan Nasional 126 seats (Source: Sinchew).
As of today, the Opposition will form the state government for Penang, Kelantan, Kedah, Selangor and Perak. This is a big blow to our beloved Prime Minister, Mr. Abdullah Badawi. Three Ministers lost in the fight as well, they are S. Samy Vellu (Works Minister), Zainuddin Maidin (Information Minister) and Shahrizat Abdul Jalil (Women, Family and Community Development Minister). Farewell former Ministers!
Okay la.. Kinda tired after sitting in front of my laptop since 9pm. Good night guys! Good job DAP, PAS and PKR for winning lots of seats, but do remember to deliver your promises if not you will be slapped again in the next General Election. Good job BN for being so steady despite quite a huge slap delivered to your face. Good job Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister for winning your seats. Good job to Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya for being so effective. Good job SinChew and MalaysiaKini for delivering the updates. Bad job to the mainstream media (rather slow in updating the poll results last night).

BN should start to learn what their people want, Not what their pockets want..

I’m happy with the overall result, but not so when it comes to the BN landslide win in Sabah… especially with the Parliamentary seat for Penampang area, hmm.. we’re wondering why there were so many “undi rosak”..
Afiqme: Yummy? It was a big shocked anyway. Didn’t expect BN to lose so badly, I mean I was expecting them to lose more seats but not till the point of being denied 2/3. Everyone wants to give BN a lesson I presume.

melbie: Sabah, Sarawak and Johor memang BN stronghold. I have no idea why those Sarawakians are so blind. Some big cronies are getting more and more government tenders while those small small people like us can’t even taste a damn shit.
