Messenger-ing

[feeling | pissed]

How many of you often spend your time in front of your computer or notebook? I presume those who are reading my blog have at least a broadband connection which keeps you connected to the cyber world. In other part of the world, Yahoo Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk, Skype, AIM, ICQ and a whole lot more keeps net citizens like you and me connected. However, over here in Malaysia, Malaysians seem to fancy Windows Live Messenger (aka MSN) and Yahoo Messenger more than anything else.

Do you know what? I once included my MSN (email address) in my friendster profile. Today, I’ve learned that it wasn’t actually cool to publish your MSN publicly as recently someone made me so freak up. I am not an arrogant person when it comes to getting to know others, in most cases when people approach me by adding me as their MSN contact. Guys or girls are all welcome with warm gestures. That’s one of the reason why I have more than 200 contacts in my MSN.

However friendly I am, I have to be a terminator at times. I am a person who cannot stand it when someone gets over my head, this usually applies to strangers. In a recent occassion, a secondary school student added me and she was too not my type of friend to remain in my MSN. She started the conversation three weeks ago, and being a nice person I am, I did reply her. Just a few days ago, she started asking for my mobile number. The funniest part is that she insist that I should be her so-called brother. I BLOCKED her but I do feel somewhat bad.

(*I wanted to include the conversation here, but on a second thought I better not. I will lose my credibility and integrity if I do so.)

Aiks… What’s wrong with this world? I really do not like it when people (esp. strangers) encroach my domain unless I really have an idea about that person’s brief background. What I mean by domain is my personal life which encompasses my mobile number, my family and my friends. I won’t let anyone penetrate into my domain unless you are a credible person who I believe in. In general, most of my coursemates and church members made it into my domain. As for my faithful readers, you are a lucky lot for I always share some of my deepest thoughts with you. Hint :: you can ask for my MSN but my mobile number is reserved until we know each other for quite sometime.

My youngest sister, Lidwina is getting her SPM results today. I don’t know what to expect from her. Well, I pray to God to let her make it to Form 6 or enrolled to a college which my parents can afford. One of the blogger, Annalycis is also getting her results today. All the best!
