Damn. I hate it whenever I discard something accidentally. Just about everything is moving on steadily and just about when I am satisfied with some of the new improvements made to daniel’s ground, I realized that there’s something missing after playing around with my blog last night.
My nuffnang advertisements are now gone for good. It’s not that the company dumped me, on the contrary it was I who dumped them. It certainly is a long story. I have been mingling around with CSS coding last night, out of dopiness, I unintentionally deleted the codec for nuffnang. Now that it is gone, I believe there’s a reason for this to happen. As such, starting from now this site will just remain ad-free!

In the mean time, daniel’s ground will be operating with no provision from any cash through ads or sponsor from others. All efforts to keep this site running are my untiring effort and of course your patronage plus encouragements, that’s all. You will understand one day, how much you guys mean to me.
I better buckle up with my research work, it’s already April. As I planned to finish my experimental work the latest by July and data analysis by November, I should better spend time straining my brain with ways to produce a good thesis.
UPDATE: I decided to put on the ads once again. Post updated on June 22, 2008.
There is always a time in a year when things should be interesting. You can have 365 of your days interesting but you must at least have something more interesting on April 1. Bottom line, you should make things interesting on this special day.
I made a total of four pranks: three friends and one aunt. I know I am a nasty and naughty person, my innocent and good look can be deceiving to your eyes though. Grinning…
I started April fooling around yesterday when I picked a good choice which is Jonathan. Reason for picking him is that I want to see whether if he is really a “hamsap” fella. Conclusion is, he is one super hamsap dude. It’s something of a guy’s talk here so I won’t disclose our contents here as there are quite a number of minors here.
This morning I pranked Benedict. I actually has the key to his dorm for reason I don’t quite remember. I called him up saying that he left his door ajar and that his room is in a big mess. I told him I suspect someone broke in or he did not lock his room and insisted that he should come back and have a look. Then I hung up the phone. Five minutes later, he called back saying that his laptop was with him and he couldn’t go back because he was having class. He begged me to check whether how was the situation in a worried voice. Gotcha!
Third prank was put on Seng aka ColourfulWorld. I called him up demanding why he was not at the farm despite making an appointment with me last night to be at the farm this morning. I told him I was there for almost half an hour but couldn’t see any sign of him. Pretending to be fed up, I almost wanted to scold him but I could hear him in an apologetic voice repeating sorry and sorry. He said he was busy with journals and has totally forgotten about the “fake” appointment. The moment I revealed to him that today is April Fool, he laughed frantically and was so happy to be tricked. Gotcha!
Another prank was a mild one done to Aunt Helen. I text her saying that I am in Boulevard, Miri and that I will be in Miri for a few days. She was like so surprised, and did not expect me to be in Miri at this time. Having studied Geography for a few years, I could simply make up story. I told her I visited Canada’s Hill, Marina, Boulevard and etcetera. She was totally taken in with my lies. She said she would like to meet up with me the next day… Recalling that I am still a nice guy and that she is a good aunt, I quickly send a text to her. The text sounded like this “Aunt, I am sorry to lie to a good person like you. Anyway, Happy April Fool!” Gotcha!
I don’t usually go harm a person physically. The bottom line is, making pranks through phone call and texts can be fun as well. All you need is some interesting ideas to make them believe what you are saying. Wahaha.
