Thai cuisine at Johor Bahru

Seeing most of my friends, especially those from Sibu, Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and Penang showing their great love for good food I also want to share some of the nice food in Johor Bahru. There are quite a number of good places serving good food in Johor Bahru, it is just that I do not have the time and money to try them out.

Nestled somewhere in busy urban city of Johor Bahru, Carabao is a restaurant that combines the best of east meets west amidst a setting that is truly a must visit place in the city. You can just imagine yourself dining in a resort-style setting in the heart of the city complete with lush greenery and cool breeze ready to whet your appetite.

Fried squid and Tom Yam Seafood

Fried squid and Tom Yam Seafood. Tom Yam is one of my favourite when I visit any Thai restaurant. I like the way they serve it sour and hot. Every drop of the Tom Yam is satisfying.

Pandan chicken and Mango salad

Pandan Chicken and Mango Salad. Both of these dishes are recommended by the chef. Chicken in pandan leaves, fried. Raw mango jeruk as salad, it is really an appetizer.

Green curry chicken and Pineapple rice

Green Chicken Curry and Pineapple Fried Rice. Chef recommended again! I never knew that curry can be in green and curry can be “un-hot”. The Pineapple Fried Rice is definitely a must try!
