Robert Galea’s Foot of The Cross

It may sound weird to introduce you someone I do not know at all. Somehow I just love this guy very much. Robert Galea, a singer and songwriter, is a seminarian currently studying for his priesthood in Australia. Music to him is an important instrument in helping God’s people understand the need for intimacy with their God.

It’s actually hard to find Catholics who sing and write Christian songs. Most of the songs (eg. Hillsong) available today are those of other Christian denominations. Way to go Rob!

I need a break! I had not taken lunch for yesterday and today. If you are wondering why I did not take my lunch, I would like to tell you that I am very busy this week. Went to meet my supervisor today to request for some extra time for my data analysis. He agreed to give me until next Monday. Good negotiation skills I have. ;)

Out of the twelve sets of data, I have finished seven sets. It looks like I will have to work overtime tonight to complete at least another two sets for today. Will complete another three sets for tomorrow. Fingers crossed that the results are what I wanted. ;)

Composite slabs are very unpredictable!

Eight winners

After a staggering victory by Italy over France in last night’s match, we are seeing eight teams entering the EURO 2008 quarterfinal. We will see the clash between Portugal against Germany, Croatia against Turkey, Netherlands against Russia and Spain against Italy. Who do you think will be the winner of Euro 2008?

My telco sent a big surprise to me while I was in the midst of busy analyzing some experiment data yesterday noon. The message read:

“You’re a winner this football season! On 19 June, enjoy 50% off to DiGi-DiGi SMS if Italy wins, 50% off ALL SMS if France wins and 50% of ALL MMS if they draw!” 2.02pm 17.06.2008

I love being a postpaid subscriber with my telco. I like getting surprises and they love giving away surprises. Go YOU-RO 2008! I will get most of my work done today so that I can keep myself busy “thumbing” texts tomorrow.

A minor accident happened to me yesterday morning. I somehow slipped and tripped while I was walking down the stairs. Bumped my butt on a few steps. If I had not got hold of the railings I would have been hopitalized. Thank God for not letting such an accident happen to me. My butt still hurts a bit.

PS: “Congrats! Tomorrow U get to enjoy 50% off SMS DiGi to DiGi. All because Italy won last night. Watch out for our next football surprise. You’re sure to win again.” 4.07pm 18.06.2008
