When I look at those, somehow I start wondering of the poor people in China, the earthquake victims and victims of other natural disasters….. Most of the time, the organisers make a loss, but I guess everybody wants to be the host just because they want the “face”!

suituapui,
Reminds me of why Malaysia built so many stadiums at Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. Every country just want to prove to others that they are the host and that the game will always be remembered in the history of mankind.

melbie,
Yeah! 45,000 tons of steel were used for the construction. Imagine that! I am not sure if the stadium is classified as a mega structure or otherwise, for me I would say it’s an amazing structure. I can’t even design one like that. LOL.
