Kenneth aka Mr. Definite informed me this good news. After 3 months of blogging, my site has positioned itself to a better ranking having improved substantially from PR N/A to PR4. Imagine 3 months of continuous energy and intellect poured into this blog, this is certainly cock-a-hoop.
During this three months, I kept wondering what was wrong with my site. Negative thoughts surfaced. I thought I was not good enough or perhaps something was wrong with Google. I took all the necessary steps - submitting my sitemaps to Google and installing Google Analytics, in the hope of getting out of the PR N/A ranking.
Moolah… July is the best month! Many good things took place which kept my mood uplifted on and on. My next mission is to surpass the Alexa ranking of 1,000,000. Come to think of it I still need to move up another 427,599 steps. Nothing is impossible.
In line with the recent Google PageRank (PR) Update most bloggers experience an upgrade in their PR ranking, while some still have to linger with PR0 because they engage in writing paid post at their site. Google penalizes them for this. It depends on how you look at things, it’s either you choose PR (which literally means more traffic in the near future) or income.

To keep things short, it’s a ranking system developed by Google to grade websites/blogs. Blogs which have higher PR tend to be more visible when Internet users perform a keyword search which will then bring traffic to one’s site from search engine. I hope my explanation is acceptable. I am lost…

That’s not pageviews. That’s another type of ranking introduced by Alexa. In the Alexa ranking, the lower the better! For google the ranking is from PR0 to PR10 in which the higher the better. =)

Me PR3? Not bad! As long as l know people want to read what l write, l’ll keep going on. That l’ll know by the comments. Some say my posts are not serious=shallow, they don’t make people think, so they don’t bother to comment. So be it, can’t please everybody so l’ll just please myself and hopefully some other people too.

I guess you started in december 2007 right? Hehehe.. actually i have started when i was in UTM 2001/2002, but under geocities.com. But after that I purchase a domain and hosting in jan 2006. Then, I change to a new Domain and hosting again in march 2008. hehehe
