What you use is what you pay

Two weeks ago, I bought my first U Mobile prepaid starter pack for FREE. Free it was. Do catch U Mobile’s creative advertisement. Cool eh..

Ocassionally I may use this 018 to give my friends a call, so please don’t be surprised. Heading to the laboratory now, to give a 15 minutes briefing on how to conduct the experiments. Cheers!

U Mobile

The rates for 018 to all networks are:
Voice & Video Calls: 0.8sen/sec (48sen/min)
SMS: 8sen/SMS
MMS: 25sen/MMS
20% Bonus For Every Top-Up!

Why not join me as well?

PS: As of Oct 1, 2008 I decided to scrapped my U Mobile prepaid because I find it too expensive.

018 very expensive leh~give a call one second RM0.08, that mean one minute RM4.80~But sms is RM0.08 per sms, still ok lah~
In a conclusion, I still love my Digi Fu-Yoh^^

Anna,
Your maths is very good leh. The call rate is 0.8sen (RM0.08) per second, which equals to 48sen (RM0.48) per minute. The good thing about U Mobile is that it’s calculated based on 1 second and not 12sec/30sec block. That’s why it’s what you use what you pay. DiGi also I support mia.

ColourfulWorld,
Yeah! You can wait for the coverage to extend throughout Malaysia, I think it needs at least half a year to one year to do the necessary things to provide 3G services to people outside Klang Valley.

is 0.8sen or 8sen?
My room mate was the promoter of 018
she say RM0.08 * 60sec = RM4.80
If it is wrong, than what she promote to the other people also wrong loh?
OMG!

the salesman said tat the 3g courage can get in all state but i bring 2 my hm town Pahang, no 3g courage y?

vani ยป I can’t tell you why because I am not a U-Mobile agent nor do I have any connection to the telco. I believe at present the 3G services is only available in the Klang Valley and will be extended throughout Malaysia in time to come.

Perhaps the salesperson had made empty promises just to get you to buy the sim pack. If you are in Klang Valley, you are really in the hype!
