People ask for bio all the time, even if they do not ask me directly who I am and what I do, they would secretly view this page. I do not have someone to blurb for me so I get to write all these blurbs all by myself. To give you the sense of human being behind the virtual me, and to make it easy for you to reach me and communicate with me, I re-crafted this about page.

About Daniel Liew

Daniel blogs, and you are reading his blog. He sees that owning a blog as to owning a mobile phone, so as to say a necessity. Blogging is the tool of today, a mechanism which helps people to reach out to others. It is a place for him to express his thoughts and share what he encounters with people who are interested in following up with him. This blog also allows those who know him to keep themselves updated with his current state of life.

Being a Catholic, he carries the saint’s name Daniel. The name Daniel can be traced back to the Old Testament in the Book of Daniel. Daniel, a Jew, was a wise man from a royal family who was handsome, intelligent, well-trained, quick to learn, and free from physical defects who was brought to serve in the royal court of Babylonia. There are similarities between them except that Daniel Liew is not a from a royal family. I love my name and am grateful that my parents gave me such a nice name.

Daniel believes that “If you are an eager person who likes to share with others both material goods and positive words; love to give everyone a compliment; living in the present; alert to change in the air, in the body and in the heart, you are actually feeling wisdom.”

He is not a copy-cat blogger. From the way he writes, comments, and conduct himself, you know that he is definitely different from others. He enjoys reading blogs from bloggers who write positively, having less grammatical error, accountable for their own words or comments, genuinely interesting, as well as being interactive. What Daniel Has Done

If you are wondering why you are bothering to read anything Daniel writes, here are a few canon points of things that he has done in his past that might be relevant:

  • He just completed his bachelors degree with honours in Civil Engineering at UTM.
  • He is currently pursuing his masters degree in Structural Engineering at UTM.
  • He chooses to further his education because he wants to experience the hardship of a researcher.
  • He is expected to be conferred his scroll sometime August 2009, God willing.

More Information

Daniel grew up in the state of Sarawak in the capital city of Kuching. He is now staying alone in Skudai, Johor with some blardy housemates. That is a stone’s throw to Singapore.
