My oh my. Lots of things are queueing in my to-do-list. With two wedding dinners to attend, one catechism class year end camp to organize and my own experiments to conduct, I can feel myself being stretched to limit. Somewhere close to my limit.
Felix, my older cousin, who’s getting married on All Souls Day just confirmed that he wanted me to become the Emcee for his wedding ceremony. It’s an honour and pleasure to be the emcee of the night. First of, I have a good reason to shop for handsome outfit. Secondly, I can talk on the stage. Thirdly, it’s always good to lend a hand to my relatives. Last but not least, perhaps I can promote danielliew.com. Haha.

Felix and Ting, both medical practitioners (doctors) in one prominent government hospital in Sarawak are getting married in two months time. I wonder how the celebration will be like. I am day-dreaming a union of Prince Charming and Cinderella clad in all white. The ballroom filled with sparkling crystals, beaming like the stars in the outer space. The crowd wearing their best costume and most beautiful smile.
It’s gonna be the second marriage at my mum’s side of the family. I am expecting more marriages to attend in the near future now that most cousins are in their early twenties to late twenties. We have a whole bunch in their teens and quite a number of small kids.
This is the second post dedicated to my family after my previous post on my granny’s 81st Birthday.
God, may you bless this couple with lots of love and understanding.

For those who read Reader’s Digest, I wonder if you noticed something or should I say see some familiar faces in the September 2008 issue.
The editor revealed that this issue has been enhanced with new look and great content. They even added a few extra pages to the magazine. In this issue they introduced the higher education section in the Special Advertising Section.
Guess what? Universiti Teknologi Malaysia as well as other public and private higher learning institutions each has something to market about themselves. Competition is indeed stiff nowadays.
The thing about university and colleges is that they can’t use models (as in the fashion world) to market their services. They simply need energetic, young, professional-looking, confident and brilliant graduates to be their “fashion models”. I am glad that I fall into that group, and my friends too!

From left to right (down): Yin Teng, Xiao Wen and Ching Ching
You may find this in the Special Adverising Section, page H24 of the September issue. To my friends out there, go and grab one of this issue. It is so rare to have our faces in magazine.
Thank you so much Ida for informing me about this. I am beaming now, smile is in the air, laughter is in the air. Forgive me for repeatedly saying September is a great month over and over again!

Had a very unlucky day on my first day of holiday. Walking out of the door and into my car, I noticed that my slippers just gave way to long term wear and tear. One of the straps was torn and it went flip flop when I walk around. It was still fine yesterday, I aver that.

I thought it would be a good time to replace my slippers so I headed to the nearest Bata shop (I am a Bata fan) in Jusco Taman Universiti. Forty ringgit was spend on my slippers, my heart ached a while when I had to pay the cashier. I had her disposed off my old slippers and wore my new slippers proudly after that.
Got myself a Chocolate Sundae which was priced at RM2 at McDonald’s. Merdeka promotion, kononnya..
Then I drove to another shopping mall - U Mall to purchase my mobile reload coupon. I just learned that U Mobile had a store there so I bought a thirty ringgit top-up. I remember keeping the reload coupon inside one of my pocket before I head off to buy some buns for my lunch.
While I was paying for the hotdog bun I got panicked when I could not feel the reload coupon which I thought all these while was in my pocket. I paid for the bun and straight away dashed out to the walk way which I took just now to scout for my lost coupon. “It must be somewhere, I must have dropped it while adjusting my pocket or wallet” I convinced myself.
I rounded the place twice but my reload coupon was nowhere to be found! Being fed up with the search, I went back to the store to buy another one. The pretty lady there pitied me and advised me to be extra careful next time when she learnt that I lost my coupon. She even offered to perform the reload for me. Gratias Vobis Ago!
I headed back to my house to enjoy my hotdog bun. Guess what! I could see green mould! What the heck is going on with today?! SUEIH!!!
