I just can’t wait for the next installment of the Heroes series. My pal, Backline media, has informed that Heroes Season 3 will be broadcast on September 22.
You are indeed very special, and you need to be strong for what is to come!
Angela Petrelli
In this season, no one is safe! Sylar is back. Hiro has a new bane. Peter Petrelli is going to explore many sides to his psyche. Mohinder loses his voiceovers. Matt has a newfound power. There is a Level 5.
Is Nathan Petrelli history? Was Niki buried in the fire? What has become of Clare? What is Maya doing with Mohinder? Seriously, I don’t know. It is for us to uncover all these in the new installment.
“Villains” will take center stage in the upcoming episodes, as well as the nature of these villains being set loose. “It will be really clear who these villains are,” says Executive Producer and Director, Allan Arkush
The month of September is a great one. With so many events coming up. My birthday is just around the corner. Our choir group is going to be one year old. Our annual mooncake festival is happening this Saturday. Heroes Season 3 is up.
Mabuhay! Yada yada! Good news fellow Malaysians, our long awaited MNP is on the go! Let’s just say, it is time to change. See, I am brainwashing you now with the slogan “it is time to change”. If you missed the news, you can read it here (copied and pasted from TheStar).
Mobile number portability to start Friday
PUTRAJAYA: Mobile phone users can now enjoy the freedom of switching network service providers without having to forego their original phone number (including the prefix).
Effective Friday, the service will be extended to users with prepaid mobile phone numbers in the Klang Valley. Postpaid users can start enjoying the facility in two weeks.
In a statement, Energy, Water and Communications Minister Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor said the service, known as Mobile Number Portability (MNP), would take away the inconvenience associated with switching service providers and consumers’ concern over losing their contacts when doing so.
“Service providers are allowed to charge up to RM25 each time a subscriber changes their mobile phone service provider. This will give the users choice and freedom to choose their service providers without the inconvenience of having to change their numbers.
“The nationwide launch for the MNP will be in October,” Shaziman said.
Shaziman said the MNP is about improved service quality, better packages, better customer service and giving consumers choice. He added that initially only individual account holders would be able to change their service providers while business accounts could do so after the nationwide launch.
He said that until the nationwide launch, each service provider would only be able to accept 100 requests per day, adding that prepaid users are advised to finish their credit balance before changing the service provider as any remaining credit would not be refunded.
“Mobile phone users are advised not to rush into porting but should first study the various packages being offered before choosing the new service provider of their choice,” he said.
Mobile phone users can refer to the frequently-asked-questions on MNP at the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission website at www.skmm.gov.my and all of the mobile operator’s websites to find out more about the service.
Being an engineering student who needs to sketch and write often, I am very particular in choosing the right mechanical pencil and ball point pen for myself. Nonetheless, a good stationery doesn’t mean that it has to be darn expensive to serve the end-user.
What we need is something worth our money. Just to provide you a grasp of the type of stationery I use I would like to introduce the type of mechanical pencil and ball point pen of my liking.
Mechanical Pencil
This drafting pencil is the one I am using right now. The slim and good-grip features of this mechanical pencil fits well into my right hand (I am a rightie). It’s designed for accurate writing, drafting and drawing. A good one!
Prior to using the abovesaid pencil, I tried the Super Grip series, where the Pilot 2020 series has the shaker function. Not so much of my type due to its bulkiness. I have to tell you I have a bad time with the shaker, it makes just too much noise.
Ball Point Pen
What about ball point pens? Forget about Faber-Castell or Paper Mate, they suck big time. Somehow everytime the ink just stop flowing when it’s half full. The brand which I am using now, g’soft, is a value for money. All these while I am able to empty the ink and there’s no abrupt flow of ink when writing on paper. I have a set of blue, black and red pens.
I better get back to my work now. Sketches and drawings, writing and calculations are all awaiting me.
On badminton, Lee Chong Wei moved into the quarter-finals of the men’s singles badminton competition with an effortless win over Lithuania’s Navickas Kestutis while veteran Wong Choong Hann squandered the chance to advance when he was beaten by Taiwanese Hsieh Yu-hsing in a third-round match. Go go Lee Chong Wei! Grab a gold medal for Malaysia in the Beijing 2008 Olympic!
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
