Map to Broga Hill
Planning to go to Broga Hill after hearing some of your friends telling you how nice the hill is? Afraid not, in this post, I am going to share with you the road map to Broga Hill aka Bukit Lalang in Semenyih.
Own a GPS? Key in 2°56′14″N 101°54′40″E.
No GPS? No worries. Google maps is there to assist you.
Broga Hill is situated 50 kilometres from Kuala Lumpur and approximately 33 kilometres from Seremban. You may use:
- Cheras - Kajang Highway (Grand Saga) connecting Kajang Silk Highway, or
- Sungai Besi Highway exit <902|Mines Interchange> connecting to Kajang Silk Highway , or
- KL - Seremban Highway exit <210|Kajang Interchange> connecting to Kajang Silk Highway, or
- South Klang Valley Expressway connecting Kajang Silk Highway (If you are from Putrajaya/Cyberjaya)
Whichever way you choose, remember to take the Semenyih Exit <1804 or 1805>.
After which, you may follow the sign to The University of Nottingham. You will drive pass Bandar Sunway Semenyih, a petrol station (BHP if not mistaken) and a police station before reaching a traffic light junction. Take the left turn. Drive straight and you will see Nottingham on your left. Keep driving until you see the Rabbit Fun Land on your right (picture below).
Park your car nicely. Walk into the palm oil plantation and you will be greeted with a lot of early birds prying Broga Hill already at the foot of the hill. No guide is needed as the trail there is very much developed due to heavy foot traffic.
Welcome to Amazing Broga! See the lalang.

See the first peak.

Sea the second peak.

See the two peaks on top of Broga!

Watch the sky turn from golden yellow to clear blue sky.

I hope you enjoy your Broga trip. It's a good place for trekking and photo shoot. If you are considering doing both activities at the same time - taking care of your health and polishing your shooting skill, this is the place.
Oh ya! There are only rocks and bushes available if you need to release yourself. Bring along a torch light if you want to ascend the hill before sun rise. I've been there twice yet never bitten by a mosquito. Bring along some food and beverages if you want to but make sure you keep the place clean.
